CROCK-POT VEGETABLE SOUP | |
2 large cans fat-free beef broth 1 broth can of water 2 c. shredded carrots 2 c. shredded cabbage 1 c. chopped turnip 1 chopped onion 2 lb. stew meat, cut in small pieces 1/2 c. barley Mix all except barley in crock-pot and cook on low about 5 hours; add barley last 1/2 hour of cooking. Note: Amounts do not have to be exact, add additional water during cooking if desired. This freezes well in individual containers for quick lunches. |
