SAUSAGE, PEPPER AND PASTA 
2 lb. mild Italian sausage, cut in 2-inch lengths
2 c. chopped onions
1 1/2 c. red pepper strips
1 1/2 c. green pepper strips
1 c. marinara sauce
1/4 tsp. basil
1 lb. rotilli or other pasta, cooked and drained

Put sausage in microwave covered, microwave on high 7 to 9 minutes. Stir twice, until firm to touch, drain well. Stir in onions and peppers, cover, microwave on high 8 to 10 minutes until onions and peppers are tender. Stir cook marinara sauce into pasta and add sausage mixture.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
