SAUSAGE, PEPPER AND PASTA | |
2 lb. mild Italian sausage, cut in 2-inch lengths 2 c. chopped onions 1 1/2 c. red pepper strips 1 1/2 c. green pepper strips 1 c. marinara sauce 1/4 tsp. basil 1 lb. rotilli or other pasta, cooked and drained Put sausage in microwave covered, microwave on high 7 to 9 minutes. Stir twice, until firm to touch, drain well. Stir in onions and peppers, cover, microwave on high 8 to 10 minutes until onions and peppers are tender. Stir cook marinara sauce into pasta and add sausage mixture. |
