1 head lettuce 1/2 lb. crab meat 1/4 c. sliced water chestnuts 2 stalks celery, sliced 3 green onions with tops, sliced 1/2 green pepper, chopped 2 tomatoes, cut in wedges 1 bunch asparagus spears, steamed 3 min. DRESSING: 3/4 c. mayonnaise 2 tbsp. lemon juice 2 tbsp. grated onion Chill dressing 30 minutes. Line salad bowls with outside lettuce leaves, shred the rest. Toss lettuce, crab, water chestnuts, celery, green onion and green pepper with dressing. Spoon into lined bowls and garnish with tomatoes, asparagus and lemon wedges. |
