FUDGE NUT FROSTING 
6 oz. unsweetened chocolate
1/4 c. butter
5 1/2 c. sifted confectioners' sugar
3/4 c. light cream or undiluted evaporated milk
2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. chopped walnuts or pecans
Dash of salt

Melt chocolate and butter in saucepan. Add 3 cups sugar, cream, salt all at one time. Beat until smooth. Cook over low heat stirring until mixture bubbles well around edges. Turn off heat. Add vanilla and remaining sugar in thirds beating smooth after each addition. Stir in nuts. Cool until thick enough to spread. Stirring occasionally.
