HAMBURGER SOUP 
1 lb. ground chuck or sirloin
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. onion or garlic salt
1/2 tsp. black pepper
1 tsp. each of three (3) favorite herbs (basil, fennel, marjoram, oregano
or rosemary)
1 lg. (20 oz.) can Veg-All
1 lg. (18-20 oz.) can peeled tomatoes
1 tsp. sugar (to cut acidity)

Brown and drain meat. Add salt, onion/garlic salt, pepper and choice of 3 herbs. Stir to mix flavors. Add all other ingredients. Simmer 20 minutes. If time allows, make several hours ahead of meal time to allow flavors to mingle. Serves 8-10.
