2 egg-whites 1/3 c. instant dry milk 1/4 c. water Beat until stiff, beat in 1 cup sugar gradually to make a thick glossy meringue-like mixture; scrape sides of bowl often; fold in 1 cup finely crushed soda crackers, 1/2 cup (each) chopped dates, chopped nuts--Spread evenly in greased pie pan; bake at 325 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes until top is light brown; cool and cut into pie wedges; top with whipped cream. |
