GREEN TOMATO DILLS 
Boil jar lids, seals, and utensils.

Wash and prick with toothpicks small green tomatoes about 1 inch in size, 2 inch tomatoes can be sued if sliced in half. Pack in sterilized jars with dill, garlic to taste, hot red pepper to taste. Pour boiled brine over packed jars.

BRINE: 2 quarts water, 1 quart vinegar (white), and 3/4 cup pickling salt. Heat brine to light boil. Yields 6 quarts.
