HASH BROWN POTATOES WITH CHEESE 
2 lb. bag square hash brown potatoes, thawed
1 stick melted butter
1 sm. container sour cream
1 can celery or cream of mushroom soup
1/2 chopped onion
2 c. shredded cheddar cheese (save 3/4 c. for topping)

Mix ingredients together and add potatoes. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour in a 9x12 baking dish.

TOPPING (optional) :

2 c. crushed corn flakes
1/2 stick melted butter

Mix corn flakes and butter with 3/4 cup cheese.
