SOUR DOUGH PANCAKES 
In a large mixing bowl place:

2 c. sour dough batter
1 egg
2 tbsp. sugar
4 tbsp. cooking oil

Beat mixture thoroughly with a wooden spoon.

Just before cooking the pancake slightly stir in 1 level teaspoon baking soda dissolved in a jigger of water. Cook on a moderate, lightly greased griddle. Flip once when they stop bubbling.
