FRUIT CAKE 
2 eggs
2 c. water (add in water) : 1 heap. tsp. instant coffee 1 heap. tsp. cocoa 1 level tsp. cinnamon 1 level tsp. nutmeg 1 level tsp. cloves 1 level tsp. allspice
2 pkg. Pillsbury date bread mix
1 c. black berry jam
2 c. chopped walnuts
2 c. raisins
2 c. candied cherries (optional)
1 c. figs, chopped

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and line tube pan with wax paper and then grease wax paper. Combine eggs and water with spices added and mix well. Add remaining ingredients. Stir by hand until combined. Pour or spoon in pan.

Bake 1 hour and 20 minutes or until a toothpick in center comes out clean. Cake should be refrigerated and can be frozen in a plastic bag for a long time.
