FETTUCINI ALFREDO ALA TED 
1 box fettucini, linguine or egg noodles (approx. 1/4 inch wide)
1/4 lb. butter
1/2 c. cheese, grated
1/2 c. light cream (half & half) or sour cream
Salt & pepper to taste

Cook and drain noodles. Pour into a large frying pan or pot. Melt half of the butter; mix well. Add remaining butter and cream, toss. Add grated cheese and salt and pepper just before serving.
