CROCK POT CHILI | |
2 lbs. ground beef, salted & browned in fry pan 2 (1 lb.) cans tomato sauce 2 (1 lb.) cans kidney beans, drained 2 med. onions, chopped 1 stalk celery, with tops, cut up 2 cloves garlic, crushed 1-2 tbsp. chili powder 1 tsp. pepper 1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper (opt.) 1 (10 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup Put all ingredients (except soup) in crock pot in order listed. Stir. Cover and cook on low for 10 to 12 hours (high 5 to 6 hours). Add can of soup 20 to 30 minutes before serving. Blend it with a wire whisk. Serves 8 to 10 people. |
