MOIST MEATBALLS 
1 egg
1/2 c. milk
1 1/2 c. croutons
2/3 c. applesauce
1 can cream of celery soup
1/2 c. water
3 tbsp. chopped onion
1/4 tsp. sage
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper

Mix together the egg, milk and croutons; let stand overnight.

Add remaining ingredients (minus the soup) and form into balls. Brown the meatballs. Cover with soup and bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.

NOTE: The meatballs can be browned quick and easy by putting them on a cookie sheet or a 9"x13" cake pan and placing under the broiler. Watch them closely, turning is optional.
