GLAZED LEMON BREAD 
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1/3 c. melted butter
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1/4 tsp. almond extract

Combine flour, baking powder, and salt in a bowl. In another bowl, mix butter, sugar, eggs, and extract. Add dry ingredients alternately with 1/2 cup milk to egg mixture. Add 2 teaspoon lemon extract. Bake in greased and floured loaf pan at 350 degrees for 55-60 minutes.

GLAZE:

1 1/2 tsp. lemon juice
2 tbsp. sugar

Mix and spoon over hot loaf. Cool 10 minutes on rack. Remove from pan and cool thoroughly on rack. Wrap and store overnight before slicing.
