MARINADE FOR KABOBS 
1 1/2 tsp. garlic, minced
1 1/2 tsp. shallots or red onion, chopped
1 1/2 tsp. Dijon mustard
1/3 c. dry white wine
1/3 c. fresh lemon juice
1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
1/2 c. olive oil
1/3 c. fresh basil, finely chopped

Enough marinade for 1 1/2 pounds of shrimp, chicken or steak. Marinate at least 15 minutes.
