STEAK SAUCE 
1 1/2 c. soy sauce
1/2 fresh ginger root, grated
4 garlic buttons, crushed
1 tsp. dry mustard
1 tbsp. flour
4 heaping tbsp. brown sugar
1 jigger GOOD whiskey

Combine all ingredients and use as a marinade for steaks or ribs. Marinate steaks for 40 to 45 minutes; ribs for 4 hours. Store sauce in plastic container. Will last indefinitely, if frozen.
