UNCLE HENRY'S COOKED CUSTARD ICE
CREAM
 
6 eggs
2 cups sugar
2 quart milk
4 tsp. vanilla

Beat eggs and sugar in mixing bowl. Add a little milk to thin the mixture. Heat remaining milk in double boiler, then pour in the egg and sugar mixture. Cook on medium heat until thickened and coats spoon. Remove from heat and add vanilla. Freeze.
