BANANA NUT BREAD | |
2 eggs, beaten 1 c. sugar 1/2 c. Crisco 2 c. flour, sifted 1/2 tsp. baking soda 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder 2 tbsp. milk 1 c. crushed bananas 1/2 tsp. salt Cream together eggs, sugar, and Crisco. Add soda, baking powder, and salt to flour. Combine flour mix to creamed mix. Alternate with bananas and milk. Use 3 small loaf pans, greased and floured. Start in cold oven. Bake at 325 degrees for 45 minutes. Increase heat to 350 degrees for 15 minutes longer. Remove and cool in pans. Freezes well. |
