QUICK SKILLET CHILI-MACARONI | |
1 lb. ground beef 3/4 c. chopped green pepper 1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes 1 can red kidney beans 1 can tomato sauce 2 tbsp. taco seasoning 1 bay leaf 1 c. uncooked macaroni In skillet, cook meat and pepper until meat is browned. Drain fat. Stir in undrained beans, undrained tomatoes, tomato sauce, seasonings, 1/2 cup water and 1 1/4 teaspoon salt. Bring to boiling; add macaroni. Cover; simmer, stirring often, 15-20 minutes, until macaroni is done. Remove bay leaf. Serves 6. |
