CARAMEL PIE 
5 eggs, separated
2 c. sugar
3 heaping tbsp. flour
1 c. butter, melted
1 c. acid preserves (Damson)
1 1/2 c. milk
1 tbsp. vanilla
2 unbaked pie shells

Beat egg yolks with sugar and flour. Add melted butter, preserves and milk in this order. Add vanilla. Fold in beaten egg whites last. Pour into pie shell and bake in 350 degree oven for 30-40 minutes or until set. Makes 2 pies.
