SHOE STRING CASSEROLE OLE 
3/4 lb. ground beef
1 1/2 tsp. chili powder
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. oregano
1/4 tsp. ground cumin
1 (20 oz.) pkg. frozen shoe-string potatoes
1 (11 oz.) can Cheddar cheese soup
1 (4 oz.) can chopped green chilies

Brown ground beef. Combine chili powder, salt, oregano and cumin. Mix well. Add 2 teaspoons seasoning mixture to beef. Layer 1/2 potatoes in bottom of shallow 2 quart casserole. Sprinkle with 1/2 teaspoon reserved seasoning.

Spoon ground beef over potatoes. Mix cheese soup with peppers and spread over beef. Top with remaining potatoes. Sprinkle with remaining seasoning.
