CHRISTINE'S NO-ROLL SUGAR
COOKIES
 
2 sticks butter, softened
1 3/4 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 3/4 c. flour
1 tbsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt

In a large bowl, beat sugar and softened butter until light and fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla and mix well. In a small bowl, sift together flour, baking powder and salt. Gradually add flour mixture to butter mixture, mixing well. Dough will be sticky. Refrigerate for 1 hour.

Preheat oven to 350°F. Use a cookie scoop to form the cookies and place on an ungreased baking sheet and bake just until the tops look done, approximately 8 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool on baking sheet for no more than 2 minutes. Transfer to wire rack to complete cooling process...enjoy!
