MACADAME - WHITE CHOCOLATE
COOKIES
 
1/2 c. butter
3/4 c. brown sugar
2 tbsp. white sugar
1 lg. egg
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
2 c. flour
3/4 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/8 tsp. salt
1 c. white chocolate, in chunks
1 sm. jar macadamia nuts, chopped

Beat butter and sugar until fluffy. Gradually add sugars, egg and vanilla; mix well. Combine flour and next three ingredients. Mix well. Combine with butter mixture. Stir in chunks and nuts. Drop by rounded teaspoonful onto lightly greased cookie sheets. Bake at 350 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes. Makes about 5 dozen.
