VEGETABLE MEAT PIE 
Peel 4-5 potatoes, boil and mash
2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
3 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. shortening
3/4 c. milk
Mixed vegetables
Meat

Sift flour, salt, baking powder in bowl. Cut in shortening until mixture resembles corn meal. Stir in milk until mixture clings together. Knead lightly on floured board and roll out to fit casserole. Flute top edge. Heat and thick slightly 2-3 cups of any mixed vegetables and meat (leftover roast or hamburger is fine). Put vegetable mixture into biscuit casserole and bake in hot oven, 425 degrees, until dough is done, 15-20 minutes. Fix mashed potatoes and pile on top of casserole. Return to oven a few minutes to keep hot. Serve with hot gravy.
