REFRIGERATOR PICKLES 
1 c. carrots, sliced
1 c. celery, sliced
2 c. onions, sliced
1 c. cauliflower, broken into flowerets
10 c. cucumbers, sliced thin
1 c. green peppers, sliced

Put into 2 heaping tablespoons salt. Stir and soak (2 hours). Rinse well in cold water and drain.

SYRUP:

3 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. vinegar (white)
1 1/2 tsp. celery seeds
1 1/2 tsp. mustard seeds

Heat to warm. Pour over and refrigerate overnight. In morning put in jars. 4 pint jars.
