EASY CHERRY UPSIDE DOWN CRUNCH 
1 can cherry pie filling
1 box (1 layer cake) or 1/2 box (2 layer cake) cake mix, white or yellow
1/2 stick butter
1/2 c. pecans

Lightly butter 8 or 9 inch square pan. Pour in cherry pie filling, cover with layer of mix. Melt butter and pour over cake mix. Sprinkle pecans. Bake at 350 degrees for about 1 hour. Cool 5 to 10 minutes and turn onto serving plate.
