I have had this recipe since I was a small girl. My Aunt found this recipe in a magazine. This has been a family favorite first. It is always a favorite. Everyone considers it 'additive', hard for them to stop. This recipe can be made in advanced an refrigerated and baked later. Enjoy this recipe as much as possible.

A hearty & delicious cookie! I make them larger than the recipe calls for and cut both the white and brown sugar to 3/4 cup each.
The only cookie recipe my family asks for! Perfect to make on a snowy evening.

These were super easy to make, and turned out great! I didn't have any chocolate chips, so I added 1 tsp cinnamon, and they were delicious.

These are great cookies. I cut back on the sugar and add chopped pecans or unsalted sunflower seed kernels. Yum!!!
