CINNAMON BUNS | |
1 yeast cake 1 c. warm water 2 tbsp. sugar 4 c. flour 1 1/2 tsp. salt 1 egg 1/2 stick butter Brown sugar Molasses Water Pour the above over buns. Mix yeast in warm water. Add sugar, let set 5 minutes in large bowl. Add 1 cup flour and salt to yeast mixture, beat until smooth. Add egg and butter, mix well. Add 3 cups flour, mix well. Let rise 1 1/2 to 2 hours. Knead on floured surface, roll to 1/2 inch thick. Spread with butter, sprinkle sugar and cinnamon. Roll, slice 1 inch. Put in pan. Let rise 1/2 hour. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes and 325 degrees until brown. |
