COVERED WAGONS 
Frozen dough or any bread dough for 12 buns

FILLING:

May be prepared ahead of time.

1 lb. lean hamburger
2 tbsp. minced onion
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. "Beef-in-a-Mug" soup mix
1/2 tsp. chili powder
1/4 tsp. oregano
1/4 c. ketchup
1/2 c. grated Mozzarella or sharp Cheddar cheese

Brown hamburger and drain well. Cook onions until soft. Add salt, soup mix, chili powder, oregano and ketchup. Stir until well mixed. Drain excess liquid. cool. Fold in cheese.

When ready to bake, flatten dough. Put as much of the hamburger in center as possible. Seal and place seal side down in greased muffin tins. Allow 15 minutes for buns to rise in a warm place. Bake at 375 degrees for 20 minutes.
