SOUR CREAM APPLE PIE 
This quick and easy apple pie is surprisingly different!

1 unbaked 9" pie shell
1 egg
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. lemon juice
1 c. sour cream
4 c. baking apples (approx. 4 med. apples), peeled & sliced

TOPPING:

1/2 c. packed brown sugar
1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 c. butter

Beat together egg, sugar, salt and lemon juice, then beat in sour cream. Place apples in pie shell, pour sour cream mixture over apples. Bake in preheated 400 degree oven for 15 minutes.

Meanwhile, combine topping ingredients until mixture is crumbly. Sprinkle over apples. Return pie to oven, reduce temperature to 350 degrees and bake about 35 minutes more, or until apples are tender. Source: Hollmeyer Orchard, Ohio Apple Program.
