1 c. butter
4 sq. unsweetened chocolate
4 eggs, beaten
1 3/4 c. sugar
3 c. flour
2 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
Nuts

Melt together butter and chocolate and mix that with sugar. Add eggs, flour, vanilla, baking powder, salt and nuts. Heat waffle iron and drop 1 teaspoon of batter in each section. Bake ONLY 1 minute. Chocolate frosting is optional.

FROSTING:

1 sq. chocolate (3 tbsp. cocoa & 1 tbsp. butter)
1 tsp. butter
1 c. powdered sugar
2 1/2 tbsp. water (coffee)

Melt chocolate and butter. Add sugar and coffee. Usually frosts full batch of cookies.
