STEAK 'N NOODLE CASSEROLE 
1 (5 oz.) pkg. medium size noodles
1 med. onion, chopped
1 green pepper, chopped
1 1/2 lb. round steak, cut in bite size pieces
butter
1 (4 oz.) can sliced mushrooms
1/2-1/4 c. milk
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 (10 1/2 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
1 (4 oz.) pkg. cheddar cheese, grated

Prepare noodles according to package directions; set aside. Brown onion, green pepper and beef in small amount of butter. Add mushrooms to meat mixture; simmer, covered, for 15 minutes. Combine noodles, meat mixture, milk, salt, pepper, soup and 3/4 cup cheese; pour into buttered 2 quart casserole and top with remaining cheese. Bake, covered at 375 degrees for 45 minutes; remove cover and bake 15 additional minutes or until browned. Makes 4 to 6 servings.
