CASSATA CAKE 
10 eggs, separated
1 c. sugar
1 c. flour
2 tbsp. white wine
1 tbsp. vanilla

Beat egg yolks with sugar until creamy. Gradually add flour, wine and flavoring, beating constantly. Beat egg whites until stiff and fold into egg mixture. Pour batter into tube pan that has been buttered and dusted with powdered sugar. Bake in 350 degree oven for 45 minutes. Invert and cool for 2 hours.
