EASY SLAW 
2 sm. or 1 lg. hear cabbage-shredded
1 green pepper, chopped
1 sm. onion, thinly sliced
3/4 c. oil
3/4 c. vinegar
1 1/2 c. sugar (we use 1 cup)
1 tsp. salt

Combine oil, vinegar, sugar, and salt and bring to boil. Mix cabbage, pepper and onion. Pour boiling mixture over slaw. DO NOT STIR! Let sit 1 hour. Refrigerate. Will keep several weeks in refrigerator.
