PEACH COBBLER | |
4 c. sliced peaches 1 c. sugar 1/2 c. butter 1 1/2 c. flour 3/4 tsp. salt 1/2 c. Crisco 1/4 c. plus 1 tbsp. water Cook first 3 ingredients until thickened. Make pastry with remaining ingredients. Roll 1/8th inch thickness. Cut into strips for lattice. Pour thickened peaches into 9 x 13 inch pan, arrange lattice on top. Bake 30 minutes in 350 degree oven. |
