DEEP DISH PEACH COBBLER 
1 deep dish pie crust
1 c. sugar
1 can peach slices or halves
toasted almonds, sliced
1 c. heavy cream

Bake pie crust according to instructions. Remove from oven and sprinkle with 1/2 of the dry ingredients. Arrange peaches over top with cut side down. Pour the remainder of dry ingredients over the peaches and dot with almonds. Then pour the whipping cream into the pie.

Bake at 350°F until the custard is set, about 10 minutes. Lower the heat to 300°F and bake until the crust is brown.
