PEANUT BUTTER-CHOCOLATE CHIP

2 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. shortening or 3/4 c. butter, softened
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. light brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla extract
2 eggs
1 2/3 c. Reese's peanut butter chips
1 c. Hershey's semi-sweet chocolate pieces

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Stir together flour and baking soda. In another bowl, beat shortening, sugar, brown sugar and vanilla. Add eggs; beat well. Gradually add flour mixture, beating well. Stir in chips. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 8-10 minutes or until lightly browned. Makes about 5 dozen cookies.
