BLUEBERRY MUFFINS 
1/2 c. butter, softened
1 c. granulated sugar
2 lg. eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
2 1/2 c. fresh blueberries, mash 1/2 c. with fork
2 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 c. milk
1 tbsp. sugar, mixed with 1/4 tsp. grated nutmeg

Heat oven to 375 degrees. Recipe makes 1 dozen muffins.

In medium bowl, mix all together, except for the 1 tablespoon sugar and 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg. Pour mixture into paper muffin cups in muffin pan (2/3 full) and sprinkle each with the sugar-nutmeg mixture. Bake 25 to 30 minutes. Let cool 10 minutes before taking out of muffin pan.
