CHINESE CASSEROLE 
3/4 to 1 lb. lean pork
2 yellow onions
1 leek
1 carrot
1 banana
1 tart apple
3/4 to 1 lb. mushrooms
1 to 2 tbsp. butter (for browning)
2 tbsp. soy sauce
1 tsp. salt (to taste)
1 to 1 1/2 tsp. curry

Cut meat in strips or pieces. Peel vegetables and fruit and cut in pieces. Brown meat, vegetables, and fruit. Place in kettle. Pour in 1/2 cup bouillon and add spices. Cook on low heat 20 minutes. Mix together 1 tablespoon flour and 1 tablespoon butter. Add to boiling liquid and cook 5 minutes. Serve with rice.

Can be prepared ahead. Freezes well.
