1 can kidney beans 1 can baked beans 1 lg. onion, chopped Salt and pepper 2 medium potatoes, chopped sm. 1/2 lb. pasta 1/2 - 1 lb. ground meat or tofu (optional) Add to large pot all but pasta and meat or tofu. Add to pot, 2 cans water from kidney bean can and 2 cans water from baked beans can. Cook 1/2 hour or more. Add ground meat or tofu. Cook 20 minutes. Add pasta and cook until pasta is done (5-7 minutes). Makes great left-overs. Top with grated cheese to serve. |
