RHUBARB CREAM PIE 
1 1/2 c. sugar
3 tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 tbsp. butter
2 well beaten eggs
3 c. cut rhubarb
2 tbsp. grated orange peel
1 recipe plain pastry

Blend sugar, flour, nutmeg and butter. Add eggs. Beat until smooth and pour over rhubarb and orange peel in a 9 inch pastry lined pie pan. Top with pastry cut in fancy shapes. Bake at 450 degrees for 10 minutes, then reduce oven heat to 350 degrees for about 30-40 more minutes.
