OVEN BAKED FRENCH TOAST 
1 loaf day old French or Italian bread
3 eggs
3/4 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
Dash of cinnamon
Dash of nutmeg
1/4 c. butter

1. Cut bread into 1" to 1 1/2" slices.

2. Mix together eggs, milk, vanilla, cinnamon and nutmeg. Pour into a 9" x 13" pan. Place bread in mixture and soak both sides for about 2 minutes each side.

3. Heat oven to 350 degrees and melt butter in a roasting pan or baking pan. Place soaked bread onto melted butter and bake 15 minutes. Turn bread over and bake another 10 minutes.

4. Serve with your favorite topping.
