CHOW CHOW 
3 green sweet peppers, chopped
3 red sweet peppers, chopped
6 onions, chopped
8 ripe tomatoes, chopped
8 sour apples, chopped
1 c. chopped celery
1 pt. vinegar
2 c. sugar
3 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cloves
1/2 tsp. cinnamon

Combine all ingredients; bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes. Place in sterilized jars; seal. Yields 5 pints.
