1/2 c. butter, softened
1/4 c. plus 2 tbsp. granulated sugar
1/4 c. plus 2 tbsp. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 egg
1 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 (6 oz.) pkg. Nestle's morsels

Heat oven to 375 degrees. Grease oblong pan 13 x 9 x 2. Mix butter, sugars, and vanilla. Beat in egg. Blend in flour, soda, and salt. Spread in prepared pan. Sprinkle chocolate morsels over top of dough. Place in oven 1 minute. Remove from oven and run knife through dough to marbleize. Return to oven; bake 12-14 minutes. Cool. Cut in squares.
