SPEEDY VEGETABLE SOUP 
1/2 lb. ground beef
1 bay leaf
1 c. water
1 lg. carrot, cut
2 stalks celery, cut
1 sm. onion, chopped
1 pkg. (10 oz.) frozen corn
1 pkg. (10 oz.) frozen baby Lima beans
1 lb. beef, cut in sm. pieces
1 pkg. (10 oz.) frozen peas
1 c. green peppers
6 tbsp. butter
1 c. oil

Place in a large cooker and cook all vegetables and beef together until tender. Add to taste butter, salt and pepper.
