FRUIT CAKE 
24 oz. pecans
3/4 lb. candied pineapple
1 1/2 lbs. ready mix candy fruit
1 lb. white seedless raisins
1/2 lb. butter
2 1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. salt
6 eggs
1 bottle rum flavoring or brandy
3/4 lb. candied cherries
4 c. flour

Beat eggs, sugar, butter and flavoring until mixed good. Sift flour and spices and salt. Add to the above mixture, blend well. Add all fruit and nuts. Bake at 275 degrees for 3 hours.
