BEEF AND CHEESE CRESCENT PIE 
1 lb. ground beef
1/3 c. chopped onion
1/4 c. green pepper
8 oz. can herb tomato sauce
8 oz. can green beans, drained
1/4 tsp. garlic salt
1/2 tsp. salt
1 can Pillsbury crescent rolls
1 egg slightly beaten
2 c. grated Cheddar cheese

Brown ground beef, onion, green pepper. Stir in tomato sauce, beans, garlic salt and simmer. Separate crescent dough into 8 triangles. Place in casserole pan or pyrex dish (oblong) and press over bottom and up sides. Combine egg and 1 cup of cheese, spread over crust. Add hot meat mixture. Sprinkle with remaining cheese and bake 20 to 25 minutes at 375 degrees.
