TACO SOUP 
2 lbs. ground beef
1 sm. onion, chopped
1 (4 oz.) can chopped green chilies (optional)
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 (1 1/4 oz.) pkg. taco seasoning
1 (1 oz.) pkg. Ranch dressing mix
1 (14 1/2 oz.) can hominy, undrained
3 (14 1/2 oz.) cans stewed tomatoes, undrained
1 (15 oz.) can kidney beans, undrained
1 (15 oz.) can pinto beans, undrained
1 1/2 c. water

Brown ground beef with onion and green chilies on medium high in large Dutch oven. Stir in remaining ingredients, bring to a boil. Simmer 30 minutes on low.

I rinse and drain the hominy and beans.
