WALNUT POUND CAKE 
1 c. butter
2 1/2 c. sugar
3 c. sifted cake flour
1/2 tbsp. salt
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1 c. sour cream
1/2 c. whiskey
1 c. walnuts

Heat oven to 325 degrees. Grease and flour 10-inch tube pan. Cream butter until light and fluffy. Gradually add sugar. Add eggs, one at a time, beating until smooth. Sift flour and other dry ingredients together. Add flour alternately with cream and whiskey. Fold in nuts. Bake 1 hour 15 minutes. Glaze with favorite glaze.
