1 (14 oz.) pkg. caramels 1 c. evaporated milk 1 German chocolate cake mix 3/4 c. butter 1 c. chopped pecans 1 c. Nestle's little bits semi-sweet chocolate Melt caramels with 1/3 cup evaporated milk; set aside. Beat together cake mix, 3/4 cup evaporated milk, and 3/4 cup softened butter. Bake 1/2 cake batter in greased pan for 15 minutes. Spread caramel mixture on top of layer. Add pecans and chocolate bits. Spread with remaining batter and continue baking 15- 20 minutes. |
